Percentages of your assets in savings, CPF, ETFs, stocks, REITs, crypto etc and why?

Hi all, I'm not too sure how invested I should be and whether I'm taking enough risks or not. Appreciate if you guys could share the percentages of your assets that are saved and invested in different things!

  • For stocks 30% in dividend, 70% in growth.
  • I pick stock becoz i can take the volatility for higher expected return, is just 30% of networth.
  • I will still able to retire @50-60s, but maybe wont be so comfortable if the stock portfolio go wrong.
  • But if stocks is the only things u have to grow your networth go for board- based ETFs.
  • I increase my networth mainly by increasing my income, generating cashflow.

Key rules imo:

  • Put only what you can afford to lose, and do your own research/work.
  • If stock-picking or buying crypto or anything not passive (ETF/trusts etc), better put the fking work to be the best. Treat it like your life depends on it (your life after ~45yo (mid life crisis) actually does depend on it).
  • Habits / attitude / character / knowledge influence everything, including how much investment gains you will have. Compound yourself before your portfolio.
