Parking money in deposits with high interest rate or low-risk money funds with higher interest rate?

Some low money funds' interest rate is higher then fixed deposit's. no doubts, some fixed deposit. have higher rates but come with conditions that it is as good as going through many hoops.

No harm splitting your money and parking them in a variety of products with different rates and tenures. Spread out the risks
