Parent tax relief if you’re living in your parents home?

So my dad recently retired. So that means he’s not earning income. Plus I’m still staying in his home. Does that mean I can claim parent tax relief if I’m giving him allowance?

CPF site did not specify whose home it has to be in..

Parent Tax Relief is not a CPF thing, you should look at IRAS website:

https://www.iras.gov.sg/irashome/Individuals/Lo...

Check the Qualifying Conditions:

  1. If your NRIC shows the same address as his, should be considered same household.
  2. If your dad is 55 or above, this condition is met.
  3. Since your dad only retired recently, his annual income in 2020 and 2021 likely to exceed $4000, most likely not able to get tax relief.
