Investment products sold by financial consultants often come with high fees margin to support the financial institute and the commission for financial consultants. Additionally, they require long lock-in period of 10-20 years. With robo-advisors (which have lower commitment, higher flexibility and greater control/management) rising and becoming more popular, what is the future of these investment products sold by financial consultants?
Are the financial review and advice given by financial consultants worthy and justifiable of the high commission they receive?
