Hi! I'm am on the OCBC SIBOR floating packages but it seems like they will be discontinued soon. Does anyone know the exact timeline as to when they will kick us off?
β
Also looking to refinance, does anyone here have information on what are the best deals? I heard that the rates shown on the website are usually not the final ones, and brokers/bankers usually can offer a better %.
β
Appreciate all tips! :)

you can "bargain" for a slightly better rate with the broker/bankers. since your loan is with OCBC, you can check with OCBC what rate they offer for repricing your loan.

Hi Angela,

As for Sibor, it will be discontinued by end-2024, in line with global reform efforts to improve the robustness and integrity of financial benchmarks. (according to https://www.straitstimes.com/business/banking/s...)
