Nomura (8604:JP) is looking pretty shaky right now with a poor performing stock? Do you think it's a short opportunity? or a long, given how discounted it is looking compared to global peers?
Benefit of hindsight - when this was posted it was just before a local peak and thereafter there was a drop over two months of approx 30% - so nice little earner if picked the timings.... but stock recovered since then and compare to April entry point the share price is now up about 20% so if not actively traded then would at a loss (if shorting)
Conclusion: need to watch markets like a hawk if playing opportinitisically
