Take some time to cool off. Decide if you really need to buy a new device

If you will play quite often (e.g. weekly/few times a mth) or visit arcades - then it may be worthwhile. I have wii, i have multiple games (over 100) - due to technology (can't finish playing / clearing the levels of all games) and project them on my tv, it's like having arcade at home (e.g. I play house of the dead - shooting game, wii sports - exercise, mario, etc) so it makes sense, and it lasts though it's super outdated. the product is well designed I must say - it's only $200+ when I got it, the games + HDMI accessories another $200 - given it lasts for 5 years and going strong - I feel the investment is worthwhile (less than $100 per year).
These might help u make the decision.
