Hi everyone, I entered the workforce not too long ago and I’m keen to start investing. I’ve been reading a bit about financial independence and the importance of starting early, but the sheer amount of information out there is overwhelming.
I’ve read up on info like ETFs, REITs and DCA etc but I’m not sure what’s best for someone like me with a small budget and no prior experience. For context, I’ve set aside some savings and can invest about $1200 per month for now. My goal is to build long-term wealth and work towards financial independence in the future.
What are some resources or platforms you’d recommend to someone in my position?
Should I prioritize learning about a specific investment type (e.g. ETFs), or focus on diversifying right from the start?
How do I avoid common pitfalls when starting out?
I’d love to hear your experiences and advice. Thanks in advance for your guidance!

I would just invest a fixed amount of money with the robo-advisors.

I think ETF like S&P 500 is a great starter for you to look into. And never buy ILP.
#Not proper financial advice.
