Before you start investing, it will be best to understand your objective. Here are some questions to help you:

  1. What is your capital?

  2. How will you want to invest your capital? E.g. lump sum or an amount on a regular basis

  3. How long will you want to stay invested? E.g. 10 years

  4. What is your risk appetite? E.g. How do you feel about short-term volatility?

  5. What is your objective for investing?

Start by investing in yourself - understand the investment that you are interested in, and how you are going to manage your portfolio. Always go back to the 5 questions to keep yourself on the right track.

Every share has its pros and cons. Therefore, take some time to understand the fundamentals and why you choose to put your money in it over another share.

Here is everything about me and what I do best.

If you are new to investing, you can consider learning about fundamental analysis.

There are books to read about fundamental analysis such as learning how to look at valuation, discounted cash flow, dividends, discount model and p ratio.

For technical analysis, u can look at investing.com, stockchart.com.

U can also attend courses. I recommend this $28 course called Foundation of Stock Trading by Collin Seow.

This course covers 3 immensely powerful combination strategies that you can use immediately in the markets.

MA-CCI Swing Strategy
