Need help with Capitaland scrip dividend scheme!!?

Hey all! Recently Capitaland have this scrip dividend scheme and I am able to get either 24$ dividend cash or 9 capitaland shares. I am thinking of just getting the 24$ shares as I would use this cash more effectively in US stocks than to get more Capitaland shares which might not even return 24$ worth back to me either through price or dividends in the near future. What are your opinions?
