So a few months ago UOB tried to contact me but I didn't pick up thinking it's scam. Then they sent me a letter saying they wanted some information and asked me to contact them, but I was too busy with work and life at that time. I guess that was some CDD process that they were doing. Now they are sending me a letter saying that they can't continue the banking relationship and will close my account(s), with no specifications on what accounts are going to be closed. The letter asked me to contact the RM, so I contacted the RM who asked me to contact the bank directly. I contacted the bank but they said they can't do anything and asked me to contact the RM again. So I'm now waiting for the RM to contact me again regarding my appeal.
What are the chances of appeal for such a case? Is there anything I can do instead of just waiting for action from the RM?

You can still try appealing and just provide whatever info UOB asks for ASAP, but there’s no guarantee they’ll reverse the decision, so I’d keep chasing the RM for an update.

Sounds like it could’ve started from the missed verification checks, so I’d keep following up with the RM too
