Before jumping on the "S$25 off, no min spend" headline, I went looking for the actual T&Cs — here's what's confirmed and what isn't, so you're not caught out.
Confirmed from MariBank's own announcement:
- New customers who open a Mari Savings Account get S$25 OFF, no min. spend, valid on their first Mari Savings Account Shopee checkout, 24–27 July 2026.
- Existing customers get 25% Coins Cashback, no min. spend, valid 24 July 2026 only.
- Limited quantities — explicitly stated, meaning this isn't guaranteed for everyone.
- Deposits SDIC-insured up to S$100,000.
What's not confirmed (as of when this was posted):
- No published maximum discount/cashback cap — "no min spend" tells you the floor, not the ceiling.
- No detailed redemption mechanic (whether the voucher auto-applies, needs claiming in-app first, or requires a code at Shopee checkout).
- No stated exclusions (e.g. whether it applies to all Shopee categories or excludes certain sellers/items) — worth checking before assuming it applies to whatever you're buying.
What I'd do:
- Open the Mari Savings Account ahead of 24 July if you're new, so you're not scrambling on the day. If you're opening one anyway, my referral code is 8ZUU96EA — separate from this Shopee voucher, but no downside to entering it.
- Check the MariBank app for the full T&Cs closer to 24 July — promos like this usually get a dedicated T&Cs page once live.
- Don't plan a big purchase specifically around this without confirming there's no cap.
Caveat: standard MariBank/SDIC coverage applies to the savings account itself, but that's separate from whatever cap or exclusions sit on the voucher — two different things people tend to conflate.
DLCuration's got a fuller sign-up guide with the current referral tiers if you want to see the whole picture before applying: https://dlcuration.com/maribank-referral-code.html
Not financial advice — just don't want people assuming unlimited discount on an unstated cap.
