Will holding the stocks even work?

If the company is not going bankrupt, jus hold I guess...

Large major indicies go up over the long run because they are diversified and have professional management to adjust accordingly.

However, there is no gurantee with Individual stocks. Any company could be resistant to effective competition until competition eats it's businesses away. Take Nokia or GE for example.

If you truly believe the companies which you invested in have conservative debt, good valuation and able to sustain growth for the long run, why fear? Corrections are only DISCOUNTS.

S&P500, Nasdaq and DJA are all at all time highs. I assume you are worried because you bought positions in speculative stocks/emerging tech like those correlated with Ark? Again, if you believe in those businesses then corrections give you time and opportunity to get in before it gets higher.

Might also want to plan your DCA better, not sure what you mean by no more money to add, did you go all in?

If you holding large cap/ETF will work.market eventually go up

Small cap depend.
