Jeff Bezos' Final Letter to Shareholders Before Stepping Down as Amazon CEO

The world richest guy, Jeff Bezos issued his final letter to shareholders on Thursday before stepping down as head of the company. He will be succeeded by Andy Jassy, the guy behind AWS.

He left an overview of what Amazon will look like in the future, eg. pledging to improve safety and quality for its employees, and focusing on climate change issues. Of course, with the financial part about how they grow into $1.6 trillion, in shareowner wealth, since it was first founded as a bookstore in 1997.

I particularly love this last sentence "Keep inventing, and don’t despair when at first the idea looks crazy. Remember to wander. Let curiosity be your compass. It remains Day 1."

Create More Than You Consume
If you want to be successful in business (in life, actually), you have to create more than you consume. Your goal should be to create value for everyone you interact with.
