Is this a good time to get into STI ETF and Nikko STI ETF?

If so, how much should be a good amount to start with? Also from my limited understanding, ETF is to be held for longer term, right? Thx

Will honestly just skip the STI ETF altogether. SG stocks are for dividends not growth, I would go for SG REITs instead if I want dividends
