Is there any cost to funding TDA account? (ie depositing money) Also, is there a minimum order size on TDA? Or is it ok to buy 1 unit of SPY for example.?

There are only the currency conversion (SGD to USD) fees, they do only accept incoming USD, so you should use TransferWise and not Your bank.
