Is there any accrued interests from CPF OA investment?

I understand that when using CPF OA to pay for housing, the amount used to is subjected to accrued interests, Is it the same if used for investments, eg with Endowus?

Hi LLy,

Accrued interest only applies to monies used for housing.

I have been investing my OA monies for a while and there was never any accrued interest statement in my CPF until I bought my resale HDB recently; had to use OA to front the downpayment, after which the accrued interest line appeared.

No need to pay.

On one hand if you invest well then it can give you better returns than 2.5%. On the other if you get poor returns or even losses I think it's quite unreasonable to expect you to pay back
