Is there an online resource or video that I can see how I can change SGD in my ibkr account to USD to buy US shares? Thanks!

Hey, another quick and simple way that i found out is to:

Go to IBKR mobile app
Head to the "Cash Balances" section on the home page, and click on "SGD Cash" (or any currency)
Click "Convert Currencies"
Indicate the currency to trade (SGD), and then the currency you want (USD)

Maybe you can try uSMART. Now new users can enjoy zero commission for trading US stock options throughout the year. There is no minimum order amount threshold. It is one of the lowest in the industry and can save money in long-term investment.
