Is there a minimum internship wage in Singapore?

Am starting an internship at a cleaning contracting company, and the boss offered me $3/hr. I asked if he thought that was a bit low. He said I should be lucky that I'm even being paid. Aren't there regulations that state interns should be paid a minimum amount? Like the progressive wage model?

There is no minimum wage for interns in Singapore. Unpaid internships are therefore legal. The Progressive Wage Model (PWM) applies only to specific types of jobs (mostly lower-paid manual positions) like cleaners, security guards, etc.
