Is there a cheaper way to deposit USD into Paypal account?

Is there a cheaper way to deposit USD into Paypal account? I need to use Paypal as the merchant only accept payment from it and Paypal have a conversion fee of 2.5%.

Unfortunately, there isnt any workaround for this.

This happened to me: merchant doesnt accept bank transfer (usimg Youtrip or Wise)

Rather than "depositing" USD, use the YouTrip card to make payment to the merchant in USD. You will be subjected to YouTrip's kinder fx spread if you click the option "Convert with card issuer".
