StashAway is considered an investment firm. So if you pass away, the executor needs to obtain a grant of probate in order to distribute the deceased's investments. The investments held with StashAway will then be distributed evenly among the named beneficiaries.
It is best to clearly state your investments (in StashAway and other places) in your will, as well as how they amount should be distributed. This can help ensure the estate is distributed according to your wishes
