Hi anon,
When you say 'trustable', what are you looking at exactly?
Ultimately, if you work with a PIAS advisor, you might get products that he/she distributes. For the sake of discussion, let's use an insurance policy as an example.
This policy is ultimately between you and the insurance company. So in the end, your contract of insurance is guaranteed by the insurer and the question would be whether the insurer is trustworthy.
I think what's more important here is to find a trustable advisor; if you know of someone in PIAS whom you trust with your finances, then that's great for you. But the same can also be said of any other advisor from other firms.
