Hi AEiou,
I think finance literacy is of crucial importance and should be included in the school syllabus. Perhaps as a supplementary subject like Moral Education.
The skills you'd learn from Math and Science subjects such as logic, scientific thinking, analytical and evaluation skills will help one to better grasp personal finance topics like how to build wealth and investing.

Yes. its a must for everyone to be financiallt literate amidst the success in our personal careers. like some of you has mentioned, you can earn tons and lose tons as well

Agree! Perhaps can start focusing on nurturing the mindset from young (like Civics & Moral Education, but on topics on overspending, etc) before moving into the more technical topics when they get older. I believe there will likely be suitable topics from each level from primary to secondary sch and beyond. Kids are so smart nowadays. Not every parent is blessed with good financial planning skills, but perhaps we can give every kid an equal chance to acquire a good foundation from this.

Yes normalise this pls I thought taking poa in secondary school and econs in jc would help but they were so useless and didn't teach me anything about personal finance
