I think it depends on your stomach for risk. As stated by the other users, crypto is a relative volatile investment that may not be fit for your risk portfolio.

Personally I bought crypto during the time when it was down during the first wave of the pandemic and made quite a bit out of the crypto. But after the recent crash I changed all my crypto into stablecoins and placed it in celsius to generate stable interests.

Personally wise, I believe crypto may continue to dip further in view of the regulatory restrictions on it, but on the bright side there are some countries using crypto as a legal currency so there will be ups and downs very frequently. So if you are not able to stomach the volatility of crypto, then it may not be optimal for you.

As always, do your own due diligience into which projects you have belief in and always go with the concept of investing something that you are willing to lose, especially in crypto.

Hi Anon,

Like what others have mentioned, it depends on your beliefs in the crypto and their usage. If you strongly believe in it then do go ahead and put part of your war chest in there. However, do read up on them and decide how much you wish to allocate to crypto. Personally, I have sold off my BTC after the recent waves of volatility coupled with the fact that they are not legal tender and cannot be considered to have real world value should anything happens. Like Yong Ming, I am more inclined towards stablecoins due to the relatively stable value and with the interest earned, I can put them on another crypto of my choice in future or just cash out.

Personally not a fan of Bitcoin, but I'm bullish on ETH. Always buy the dip :)

I am buying the dip for both BTC and ETH with the intention of holding it for the long term....
