If you are holding more than $1k worth of assets or you cannot afford to loose your assets, I highly recommend that you at least move them to hardware and/or cold wallets for long-term storage.
There are a lot of things to learn even for folks who use hardware wallets and it requires discipline and more advanced cybersecurity hygiene practices to protect your assets, especially if you hold a very large amount of crypto assets. Just last week, even hardware wallets and very savvy crypto owners have been compromised and the cause is still very mysterious. Most users are better off keeping them on reputable exchanges like CoinBase, Gemini and Kraken. Never store your assets on off-shore crypto and exchanges/platforms. To add to that, I do not believe that Binance is a safe place to store your assets.
