Assuming I am a Platinium user and my spending is derived totally from Grabpay spending($1 = 10 points). The last I check, 20,000points will allow me to exchange for 10,000 miles. This means that every $2,000 of spending will allow me to exchange for 10,000 miles. Is it worth it?

Hi there,
If you don't really utilize the Grab rides/food vouchers, I think KF miles would be the next best options (not considering those shopping vouchers). The 20,000points for 2,000 miles was only recently added. If you noticed, there is actually a 1,400 points for 160 miles which is more worth. But everytime you convert points to miles, you got to wait for it to process finish first (takes about 1 business day for me). The reason for them giving this bulk transfer is so you can do it one shot and not every day, even though the value of mile is lesser (2c/mile as compared to 1.875c/mile).

Depends on which fare type are you targeting - different class has different miles value. It is recommended to back calculate before you take any action (especially now Grab reward points don't expire!) so that you can get the best value of it!

Hi Wei En,
I would do it if I know that my miles just need a small boost to put me in range for a J/F redemption.
If not, I'd leave the points within the Grab ecosystem and redeem other stuff from there, such as discounts off my Grab rides.

Hi Wei En, I believe it is about opportunity cost - so you will be redeeming for miles in place of the other options. If you are not redeeming for miles, will you be considering the other options? If you aren't, then perhaps the Krisflyer miles would work best for you.
Milelion just wrote an article on the new conversion options for grab points ( https://milelion.com/2019/12/06/grabrewards-add...) - it could be worth a read. All the best!
