Is it worth it to pay insurance/endowment premiums with Cardup? Would like to earn some miles. How do I change my AIA and Prudential payment method to CardUp payments? Need some advice.

To determine if it's worth it to use Cardup to pay for your insurance premiums, you will need to evaluate the value of a mile to you. A rough calculation of 1.4mpd (on the UOB PRVI Miles card) with a fee of 2.25% (Cardup's promotional rate) works out to approximately 1.61 cents per mile (cpm).
This article on The Milelion explains well about determining the value of a mile. It also shows other alternatives for acquiring miles at lower costs. In general, the higher the class of airfare, the higher the value - but you won't be able to redeem as many business class tickets as you would for economy class.
Another way to look at it is that you are essentially paying for miles. For myself, I see this as an additional cost that I do not need to incur. Rather, I try to optimize and earn as much miles as possible through the use of different cards. However, services such as Cardup can be valuable and relatively inexpensive way to accumulate miles, should you plan on making a large redemption.
