Hi Anon! I don't think there's a great need to enroll in expensive courses when there are many free rosources out there. For example, there are a lot of finance related courses on Coursera that you can learn for free. At the end of the day, employers are looking out for the skills that you can bring to the table, which are more important than chasing after certifications. Hope it helps!

The easier way to this is :
1) check which job / position would you like to work at in 5 years time ? or the possible career progression path.
2) Go to all the online job site, linkedin, mycareersfuture and search for the ads of the positions, look within if there's any certifications requires.
3) Chances are if you see more than 70 to 90% of the particular job title requires that particular cert, that's the right and good cert to study for as it is what the job requires or as the basis of the company / industry hiring criteria.
Usually certificate courses may cost up to 2 to 4k or so but we can get subsidy and use Skillfuture credits to offset.
Even though most courses would benefit us, but we also want to ensure it is something that give us the most / highest returns. This way , you will only study for whatever is necessary instead of wasting $ and time studying for nice or fancy courses with nice title but may not be earning you back of the investment / time made.
Cheers
