REITs are mainly for dividends. Picking the right REITs is also important. Data centres are the rage now.

Generally the equities market hasn't been doing well the past few years. If me I would still hold onto my REITs

Maybe reits are more geared for passive income and the market has not been great too...

REITS is akin to dividend stocks. Their stock value won't increase much, but they do give dividends.

Of course, I think you are better off investing directly into REIT stocks than to use robo advisors.
