Is it worth having two phones?

Hi, I currently have 2 phones, 1 main phone (Samsung S10) and 1 spare phone (my old Samsung A8+). I'm using my spare phone to download and convert some videos into audio files (quite a lot of them) as I don't want to deteriorate my main phone and have a disorganised phone (disarray files). But I was wondering, should I sold off the spare and get a newer one (better processing power but more affordable) phone? E.g. Samsung A lines, just to do the downloading and converting of video??

Phones these days are highly advanced and do not "deteoriate" over time like the computers of the 2000s. Rather, it is the increasing demands of apps and software updates that tend to cause phones to run less quickly, which is why some people are adamant in not updating their phones at all. I would not recommend this though, as updates are absolutely important in keeping your phone secure.

What I would suggest is for you to use just one phone! Your S10 is a highly capable phone and I am sure it is able to do the tasks that your A8+ can do. If you are worried about file organization, you can use a file manager app to sort things out. Alternatively, you can store those files separately in a microSD card which you can insert into your S10.
