Is it wise to put all my savings (around $10k , still a student) into StashAway income portfolio / Syfe REITs? Especially since the current bank interest rates are sooooo low right now?

Should a student put $10k savings into StashAway income portfolio or Syfe REITs?

Don't worry too much about shifting your savings around too much everytime banks decide to cut interest rates. The few % interest on $10k is not very significant compared to a much larger sum.

Working part time to bring an additional source of income or cutting down expenses to save more would yield better results. Having said, there's nothing wrong if you have already done your due diligence on the investment and willing to risk a little if its money not needed in the near term.

Ensure you have sufficient for emergency use as im sure you wouldnt want to liquidate your assets at a loss should you require the money suddenly. Tbh $10k also cant give you much returns in sa income/syfe reits. 36% risk/100% equities will definitely be the better choice if you can stomach the volatility. It will most likely go even loooooower in the later months.
