Is it possible to not pay the accrued interest fee for Polytechnic Semester Fees?

As mentioned above that I have an accrued interest amount, is there any way to avoid paying that extra amount? I'm a student from polytechnic and I realize my semester fee payment mode is via my parent CPF, and over the years there is an accrued interest fee. Is it possible to waive off the fee by asking my parents to pay first through another medium?

Don't think the interests can be waived, but your or your parents can first pay back in cash. used to able to do this, not sure if CPF still allows it.

procedure is similar to cash top up via bank transfer but remember to specify it is to repay the education loan interests.. exact details please contact CPF.
