Is it mandatory to provide 3 months payslip to future employers?

During pre-employment offer stage, HR has requested for latest 3 months payslips but I do not have this as I have left my previous company months ago.

Secondly, payslip portal does not work after I have left & HR is not responding to my emails. Is there an alternative? Or what should I do in this scenario?

Hello! I'm not sure if its mandatory but I haven't really heard of this practice much. But if HR insists that this is part of their policy, I agree with YJ's suggestion. Perhaps you can drop them an email explaining your present difficulty in getting your payslip and provide an alternative of submitting your CPF statement instead. Hope they will be understanding of your situation!

  • I will print out the CPF statment. Will have employer contribution.
  • Then tell the HR, really dont have the payslip. But can back calculate from CPF. See if the HR ok or not.
