Is it mandatory to contribute a minimum of 10 BAT monthly to creators over the Brave browser?

I am a new user and was asked to choose on a scale of 10-25 BAT a month? It is read that the use and view of ads over the Brave browser earn BAT. But if we have to contribute a minimum of 10 BAT a month to the creator, we will be left with nothing.

I think you can turn off the auto-contribute under your Reward Settings!
