Survive definitely, yes. It depends on the lifestyle that you want.

Imagine if you eat mixed vegetable rice ($3) for every meal (breakfast, lunch, dinner). That would be $9 a day. In a month of 30 days, you will be spending $270 on food. You would need transportation and also to pay for your mobile bills as well. These will come close to around $100. In total, $370.

Yes, you can survive. But ask yourself, what is reasonable to live on.

You mentioned “survive” & so to your question, it is a definite yes. Whether single or married with a child or 2, it is technically still possible. Personally, I will never want to start a family (at least not in Singapore).
