Is it advisable to invest all funds, excluding your emergency funds?

How much / percentage of cash should one "hold" in the bank account, other than emergency funds (which has to be liquid). Is it advisable to invest all additional money earn and savings that I have?

At least 3 months of expense should be held in the bank account. And after accounting for your emergency fund, the rest of the money should be invested.
