Is it a good idea to buy stocks in companies that make surgical masks etc a few months after this nCov epidemic subsides, in anticipation of making a profit during the next epidemic?

Is this a viable idea? What would be some considerations that I should take into account when looking into this?

To me it seems no, this is only a short term thing and the companies often produce many very different products not mono (mask),

However LONGTERM investing into diversified Medtech seems successful with particular the ETF ticker IHI having been maybe the most successful (see attached chart versus the already eminently successful SP500)
