Hey Anon, yes Etiqa Elastiq is insured under the Policy Owners' Protection Scheme administered by SDIC. The interest rate is pretty competitive and most importantly, guaranteed for the first 3 years with a short lockin period of 3 months. After that, it works like a bank account, instant deposits and withdrawals.
I've been using it for over a year, no regrets.

According to FAQ from Etiqa below, it is covered under SDIC like other insurance policies.

Hi, For Elastiq, the coverage by SDIC is as follows: - Cap of S$100,000 for Guaranteed Sum Assured - Cap of S$50,000 for Guaranteed Surrender Value per Policy.
Hope this helps!βββ
