Is DS really making trading easier?

Been seeing a lot about DS on Tiger lately. It really making trading easier or just another gimmick? Looking for something that helps me stay on top of things without spending hours on research. Anyone else feel like it is actually made things better?

Hi I know this is a really basic question, but I’m just starting out and want to learn about investments. So, what exactly are stocks and how do people make money by trading on the stock market? TIA.?

I am using TD Ameritrade for trading on option & would like to know how do I know whether is my trade making profit or loss. Eg P/L open with ($1000) does it mean that I’m making unrealised loss now?

How do you reinvest your dividends from stocks? Do you still have to make another trade on the same stocks with the dividends collected by doing it manually and incur trading fees? Thanks.?

I understand that it's really hard to be profitable doing day trading but what about position or swing trading? How profitable is it?
