It depends on the intent of the purchase e.g young family with children+maid, work tool, ferry elderly parents for medical appointments. Only buy a car within financial means to meet your needs.

In your honest view, do you think buying a car is a wise (financially) decision in Singapore ?

Having a car in Singapore is like a reflection of your social status. Sometimes I feel like I need to get one to not be "looked down upon". If you are financially capable of buying a car, would you?

Is it financially wise to buy a condo in Singapore as a foreigner?

Is buying a car, maybe a 2nd hand car a financially irresponsible thing to buy? Supposing we have saved up $$ for it?

Should I buy a new car or a used car? Budget wise, a used car is definitely better, but I'm worried about the conditions or underlying problems it might have. Any advice?
