$2 million including assets like HDB and car. If I leave $250k in dividend generating investments at 4% p.a. is that enough?

If 2milion is stocks, with dividend of 4-5%, (80-100k annually) shall be enough for a comfortable lifestyle.

Assuming you are employed with CPF contribution, you could also include that as part of assets and future cash flow/ annuity (CPF life) to support your life style. your other life/ investment linked insurance could also be included as assets..
