Investing with Aggregate Asset Management

I recently inherited a legacy of S$1.5 million with no outstanding debts, loans or liabilities. Am I then considered an Accredited Investor and can I invest with Aggregate Asset Management? Thank you for advice

I don't think you can

"Who can invest in the fund?

The fund is only for accredited investors. Accredited investors mean individuals with a net asset of SGD$2M or an annual income of $300,000. For companies, they need at least a net asset of SGD$10M."

Anyway, you're not losing out on a lot. Out of the past 10 years, Aggregate Asset Management only outperformed the market in 6 of those years. So it's just a 60/40 probability. And on average, on years it underperforms, it underperforms by 10% as compared to outperforming by only 6.7%

  • Accredited investment allow you to invest thing is no avaliable to the general public. However, it doesnt mean it is more superior than the index.
  • And many actively managed fund underperform the index over the long term, mainly because fund manager have a mandate and the funds have high expense ratio, which eat into the profit.
