Hi all, currently I have a few insurance plans under NTUC income, some of which were brought by my parents when I was young. I have 2 life insurance policies which covers Foundation and Protection since I was a kid. Both covers death/PD and coverage amt is 10K and 50K respectively. Monthly premiums are about $60 in total.
I have another 2 plans under NTUC which I brought when I was an adult. (around 20 years old) One is an endowment plan while the one is endowment plus savings. Both covers critical illness which I do not have for my other 2 plans. I am paying about $100 for the former and $200 plus for the latter. The endowment savings plan matures about 10 years later and net cash value is about 30K.
I am now above 40 years old and undergoing a career transition stage, thus finances are currently abit tight. Can I ask if I can lower my premiums for the endowment plans? How should I approach the agent on this request? Thank you in advance for your replies.

Sometimes the bonus for these policies can allow you not to pay premium for a while?
