You do know there are still a lot of rich from certain asian country(ies) will come in to support the high prices

  • Means sg property market will slow down. sellers/buyer will think twice. Becoz borrowing money is more expensive.
  • When demand/supply drop, property price might drop, which may pose an opportunity for investor. For investors , increase interest rate, they can just charge to tenant, mean can rise rent.
  • It will be a test of holding power for new private property owners or owner who need to do refinancing now.
  • But this wont last, interest rate rise due to FED, FED trying to fight inflation, once inflation down, interest rate will be back to normal.
  • long term, sg property price will continue to increase, because the cost of building a houses will increase due to inflation.
