  • Tenants will think twice of hopping around, now rental is increasing. Tenants with a rental contract with the landlord, they are safe within these period, landlord cant rise rental

Condo price increase, volume drop

  • People also think twice before upgrading. " Do i really need to upgrade now?"
  • However, those who need to buy will still buy. No choice.
  • But the price will continue to rise, because increases of new launch condo price will also push up the resale market.
  • New launch will confirm continue to rise, because of the inflation of cost, developers need to make profit.
  • And people who buy million dollar HDB, overpaying for hdb, will also unintentionally push up the resale hdb and resale condo price.

  • No impact for me.
  • when interest rate is low, fix the loan, when interest rate is high float it.
  • I am safe for another 3 years, as i take a fixed loan.
  • Even if you are taking a higher interest loan, as long you are a landlord, either renting whole units or rooms, you can always pass the cost to the tenants, it will have little impact to you.
  • Interest rate have little impact to property investors, as cost can always be pass to someone else.
  • Housing price will continue to rise, thus if you need to buy a house, just buy. Dont wait just becoz of interest rate.
