Being an young adults or adults, as we start adulting, due to circumstances and all, we might have to provide financially for our own family and etc. Be it getting a HDB flat, rennovation loans and also having family member who might requires our care or provide for financially.

In view of the financial situation of your family and you having to provide for the family, would you still choose to go ahead with pursueing of the things that you always want to do? Eg. Pursueing of further studies(Getting a degree), pursuing something that you always wanted to do, in terms of career or like travelling.

I believe that communication with your family is what's required. If you wish to go for that month long trip, the family can pull tgt resources to tide them thru one month without contribution from your part. To put into perspective, it's only one payment. If you've been providing consistently and have a plan to pick up where you left off, I'm sure they will come to terms with it.
