If I have a fairly large sum of USD right now, what is the best way to fully make use of it? (rather than just converting to SGD)?

Simple: Invest in US equities that are within your circle of competence (one that you can make a high probability decision on).

So the goal should be to grow your USD net worth through investing in the right company at a reasonable price.

Don't chase hype and quick gains!
