You can decide to custodize the ETF either at CDP or OCBC Securities if you are using cash. The ETF will be deposited with your appointed agent bank if you are using SRS.

If you buy your ETF from DBS/POSB itself, when there are dividends given out, where is it deposited to? Do you have to still create a CDP account? ?

Should I create a CDP account if I already have a Stanchart custodian account? Is there any charges or minimum trades a month for the CDP to keep it? Also, when should I sell off an ETF?

Fsmone - what’s the commission and fees for buying and selling SG listed stocks? Custody with which bank or CDP or custody with Fsmone? Must we pre funded acct prior to buying?

If I plan to buy a US ETF on Tiger Brokers, I have to deposit USD? Or can i deposit SGD and they auto-convert it to USD for me?

How safe is it to have your etf / shares in a custodian account (IB, Saxo) vs. CDP (DBS Vickers, UOB KH)?
