If i bought an ETF through Tiger Brokers and the ETF have a certain expense ratio aka fee, how do i pay it?

Does tiger broker auto deduct it from the share itself or it take from my wallet in tiger broker? And what if i don't have any leftover money in my wallet. Do i need to leave some money in the tiger brokers for the ETF's expense ratio?

Hi,

I think you are referring to the managing fee which you see in ETFs. There will not be any deduction after you purchase the etfs stocks so you dont have to worry about if you have no money in the Tiger Brokers account.

If you are interested in opening a Tiger Brokers account, you may drop by my blog as I have created a post on how to sign up along with the deposit, withdrawal, currency conversion process:

An ETF's "fee" is taken from its assets. No additional outlay required on your part after paying for the commission to Tiger to buy it.
