If credit card GIRO payment is made on the 2nd working day from the payment due date, does that mean I will incur late charges every time?

Seems like it. I don’t know about GIRO, but when I paid my AMEX bill through DBS on the due date itself, it only registered I think 1-2 business days after, and it was counted as late payment :(
